GREEN ENVY MAKEUP INSPIRED LOOK

Hi guys, omg! its been over a year since my last post (covers face). I am sincerely, deeply and utterly sorry. I was going through some personal stuffs that i needed to tackle head on first and thus it took me away from my love of makeup for a long long time. I am happy i am back and i hope by Gods grace i continue to put out more interesting and interacting content for you guys.

So, today’s post was inspired by HEGAI & ESTHER’s green eyeshadow in EMERALDA. Omg! It was loooove at first sight and touch. Its so GREEEEEEEEEN and smooth and buttery and every wonderful thing that excites you. I couldn’t believe a Nigerian black owned brand can produce such pigmented shades. In my opinion it is affordable and price point is little next to nothing for the pigmentation you are getting. #it is unreal…….omg!

I went to there store with my older sis ( Judith of @jademakeovers) at 15 Ajao road off Adeniyi Jones Ikeja Lagos. We were greeted warmly by the ladies working there. The ambience was welcoming and they sure didn’t disappoint us. They showed us their products and we settled for their single eyeshadows because that was what we had in mind to get. Infact I was in love with everything there but i had to refrain myself from splurging like crazy. We met the boss lady herself. She was really nice and courteous. she also showed us other products in the studio as well like the Makeup Seal……. Omg! We were in love. Would be getting that as well soonest than you think. We ended up getting other beautiful shades but today its all about Emeralda.

EMERALD GREEN SMOKEY MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Hi beauties, I have missed you guys soooo much. Words cant explain how I feel but let me start by apologizing to you guys for not being consistent in my uploads. I have been going through alot of personal issues (per-so-nal) and it made me to loose inspiration and all I wanted to do was just to be alone. But am back now, back and better.  Am happy that its all over now and I am Awe-some.

So today’s post is an Emerald green makeup tutorial.  I wanted to challenge myself and use colors that I won’t normally go for ( gravitate towards) and also I went for an appointment too. But to cut the long story short it went well but the only downside was that I didn’t take clearer pictures that really shows how beautiful the look turned out. 

 I was running late and I needed to get to my appointment on time and most of all in time I didn’t take my time as I usually do, so the pictures didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to. Nevertheless, I hope it inspires someone out there to recreate the look and most of all spread the love  #Cheers.

YELLOW – GOLD ALLURE MAKEUP LOOK

Hi beauties,  how you doing? ( in Wendy Williams voice).  so, today’s post was inspired by the gown I was putting on.  I didn’t plan on the colors to use until I actually decided to put on my dress and alas! It spoke to me. Yea! It Spoke to me, it really did. So, I went along with the angel thought in my head ( devil thoughts are not allowed in there) and this was what I came up with. Hope you like it and recreate the look if you want.

So, today’s look is a Yellow – Gold Eyes paired with a Glossy Pink Lips. I noticed that the lips I have been rocking from my previous makeup post has always been Matte so I decided to change it to a Glossy one and I loved every bit of it. I lined my Waterline with a blue Waterproof Eyeliner which was by Mabrook which is soooooo awesome and it changed the whole look for me which was interesting. These days I have been using mascara more on my lower lash -line which gives my eyes a  doll-like look. I loveeeeee the effects it gives my eyes thereby opening it up more and  makes it more noticeable and enticing 😉 😉.

I also decided to try a new product that I owned a long time ago which was my Black Opal Deluxe Finishing Powder in Neutral Light to set my Highlight area which was awesome and later went over it lightly with Ben Nye Banana Powder for extra highlight in that area and I also used my MUA ( Makeup Academy Professional Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit)  for my brows which i loved. Never knew the brow product was awesome.  Its an easier way to fill your brows using a powder product. Will do a review on it later on though.

GREY SMOKEY EYES WITH A POP OF LEMON

Hi guys, its your girl again. I came up with this makeup look when I was bored at home and I didn’t feel like watching Films. So, I decided to play around with my makeup having in mind that I wanted to do something Grey smokey eyes and I came up with this look. I also changed it around by putting an usual pop of color in the tear duct area which was Lemon and am glad I went along with it. It gave the look life and changed / took the look to a whole new level.  I was happy with it ( the result) and I loved every bit of it 😉.   I also decided to wing out my inner tear duct which i am really loving at the moment. It really frames my Eyes and connects it all together.

BROWN GLITTER SMOKEY EYE

Hi beauties,  how has it been. I hope all is going well as usual.  Mine as always is splendid. 
I am here with a look i recreated from @glambyisoken. She wanted her faithful subscribers to recreate one of her looks, upload it and tag her on instagram for a giveaway which i entered in for but………..(fill in the blanks yourself Lol).
So. It’s something different for me because I have never done a brown glitter smokey eye before but I enjoyed the whole process and the outcome. I paired it with a purple lips which took it to another level ( in my opinion) and not the traditional nude lip.
Makeup to me is relaxing and I always enjoy coming up with different looks and it relaxes my mind and when I zone in am miles away from everyone.

AQUA BLUE MAKEUP LOOK

Hi beauties,  yep its your girl again.  How are you guys enjoying the days thats just rolling by. Wonderful I guess?  My muse of life ( my sis) was going out for lunch with a few of her friends and I decided to give her a little face beat notwithstanding that afew of my products where not at hand but I worked with what I had at the moment but I was glad the whole look came out well and she loved it alot.

So,  the Eye look was inspired by the gown she was wearing and I decided to play along side of it. It came out beautiful and I paired it with a nudey-pink lipstick by Wet n Wild and she was sold on the look.  I too was happy because I didn’t Highlight using any Concealer at all. I used a lighter shade of Powder which was Maybelline Shine Free Pressed Powder in Natural Beige which was waaaay lighter than her to do that and I only Contoured using Cover Girl Ebony Bronzer and still the whole look came out well.

VACATION MAKEUP SERIES 2: GOLD AND CORAL MAKEUP LOOK

Hi beauties, its your lovely Girl Mary.  Welcome back to my page and to my new subscribers 😘👍 hi……  I had tried posting this post for like a week ago but my Internet  was acting up. Sorry for the delay.  Am here once again with another look i did and you all know when and where……. VACATION.  I wanted to do something colorful and fun ( party on the eyes and business on the lips).  In this look i tried to balance it softly the best way I can without boring the whole look out. I also kinda matched the eyes to the lips.  Who says you can’t do that.  In my utmost sincere opinion you as a makeup enthusiasts or as an artist can get away with anything so as long you can blend blend blend away and match colors together.  The entire look is soft,  Flirty and calls at you……..Lol!  Yeah it does. 
In this look i used GOLD and CORAL colors on the lid and I also Contoured the eyes with a Brown and Black Matte eyeshadows to give it that smokey effect but not overly done.  I paired the look with a Coral lips which i used lightly and I also used little amount of Bronzer across the bridge of my nose and the apples of my cheeks and slightly Contoured. I think I need to really make it visible mect time. Who says it won’t work……..  See for yourself.  What do you think about the entire look guys.
Heads up,  in some of the pictures I will be posting on my page my son (Isaac aka: ice ice baby) will be gracing us with his presence smiling as usual and by the way he pouts too 😉 😘 and that’s because he’s sooooo cute and he just discovered that when he smiles he looks good and also turning into a little selfie Pro unlike Mum here 😉

GLITTERY BLACK SMOKEY EYES ( BIRTHDAY MAKEUP LOOK )

Hi dolls, today is a beautiful day. How has your day been like. Mine was splendid. Today’s post is all about the SMOKEY EYES.  I love love loveeeeee smokey eye looks. Yeah! I love how the eyes are intense and like staring or piercing into the deepest part of your soul.
This was the makeup look I wore on my birthday 14th April.  I really enjoyed myself because the two men in my life took me out and made my day.  People kept on commenting and complementing me all day long including my boo of life too. 

I decided to break the rules by not going nude on the lips but wearing RED. Hehehehe! And am glad I did. I wanted something different. Out of the ordinary and I achieved it.

I decided to Glam up the smokey eyes by using BLACK GLITTERS on it which changed / transformed the entire look and made it Sparkle and intensified the eye . O wow! I love it even more.
